Isaac Newton

Sir Isaac Newton, who was born in 1642, can be considered one of the most outstanding personalities in the historical process of the development of science. He produced groundbreaking theories on the subjects of motion, gravity as well as optics all of which defined physics.

Newton was born in 1642 when the genius of Galileo died and so this marked a change in discovery in the subjects of science. Newton having incurred his early curiosity resulted to the development of theories that have greatly influenced the knowledge of the universe.

Newton had interest in mathematics at a very tender age and this shaped his future discoveries constituting a great impact towards science discovery.

Newton’s works that are most remembered are the three laws of motions and the law of universal gravitation. These principles were able to describe the motion of heavenly bodies and are the foundation of classical mechanics. He also contributed a lot in the filed of optics and invented the reflecting telescope which is a great improved method of exploring the universe.

The universe particularly operating on Newton’s laws of motion and gravitation plays a very central role in space travel. They have helped mankind denote explorations into space and helped in the discovery of planetary as well as stellar motion.

In his time, Newton’s achievements in the field of science were awarded several honorary memberships in various scientific societies and academies and numerous other forms of appreciation, Today, Newton’s impact into the field of science is highly valued.

Newton was known to be very committed to knowledge. He faced so many difficulties, but he does not stop trying to increase the human knowledge.

Isaac Newton still enriches many areas of knowledge and science with his discoveries. The laws of motion and gravitation are still a part of basics of physics and his contribution is a great example of human mind’s continuous search for knowledge. Newton’s ideas are still attracting science lovers and astronauts as they try to solve remaining secrets of the universe.
